In her role at Khan Academy, Yin formulates global expansion strategies that have led to Khan Academy’s content being available in over 30 languages and international launches in Latin America, Europe, and most recently in India.
Formerly she was head of Marketing and Global Initiatives at Coursera. While at Coursera, her team partnered with the US Department of State to create the Global Learning Hubs initiative to equip underutilized spaces with internet infrastructure to make online learning available to students around the world.
Yin has previously been with Google, Microsoft, and Duke University, and she co-founded the Seattle-based education nonprofit Achieve!. Outside of work, she is a mountaineer and skiier and serves on the advisory boards of Coding Dojo and Foundation for Learning Equality.
