What are the selection criteria for Team4Tech teams? Who selects the team?

Team members are chosen based on multiple factors as ascertained in both their written application and interview. Factors considered include interest in education (as demonstrated by previous work or volunteer experience), team orientation, adaptability and flexibility, communication skills (including presentations, blogging, and social media use), technical capability, teaching experience, local language skill, ability to work across cultures, and referral by alumni.
For individuals, Team4Tech staff will evaluate and select the team members to build out the skill sets and expertise balance required by the project. For corporate projects, the company, in collaboration with Team4Tech, may have additional criteria, application processes, and volunteer selection procedures.
