Teacher Training | CARE India

November 2016

CARE India works to improve educational offerings in their Udaan Schools, a residential bridge-building program for rural girls who have dropped out of primary school. The course allows them to cover classes 1-5 in just one year through innovative teaching methods. Approximately 90% of the girls rejoin mainstream formal education upon completion of the course. In this second phase, Intel volunteers will coach teachers further on how to integrate technology, such as Guru G and KA Lite, into their everyday classroom lessons and manage school operations.  In addition, the volunteers will outreach to Udaan camp alumni learners, to support their ICT literacy skills to expand their economic opportunity.
