Teacher Training | CARE India
CARE India works to improve educational offerings in their Udaan camps, a residential bridge-building program for rural girls who have dropped out of primary school. The course allows them to cover classes 1-5 in just one year through innovative teaching methods. Approximately 90% of the girls rejoin mainstream formal education upon completion of the course. VMware volunteers trained teachers on how to better integrate technology into their classrooms to save time and make learning more fun and collaborative for the girls. In addition, the volunteers also trained teachers on how to use software to manage their community household surveys and school library inventory.
