  PROJECTS

Cambodia

This March Team4Tech volunteers from Box worked at Journeys Within Our Community's center in Siem Reap where 45 teachers provide classes for 700 students who are learning English, science, and technology. Teachers learned how to use design thinking to create lesson plans that are building 21st century skills for their students as part of everyday classroom instruction. In addition, volunteers were able to further integrate technology into the mainstream curriculum and improve their student information management system to optimize enrollment. Vietnam

A group of Team4Tech volunteers from AdobeFacebook, and Pearson worked collaboratively with Orphan Impact staff in March to develop career preparation and entrepreneurship curricula for older students getting ready to graduate from the orphanages. Orphan Impact is a nonprofit organization that provides free, after-school computer classes in Vietnamese orphanages. Team4Tech enabled them to expand their program to 10 new orphanages reaching 365 additional children.
