Entrepreneurship Education | Rede Cidadã

May 2015

Rede Cidadã is a Brazilian nonprofit that serves people from underserved areas around the country. They offer programs and resources in entrepreneurship, employability and vocational training. Rede Cidadã’s work has resulted in over 48,000 hires, and they connect their beneficiaries with a large network of business and social impact partners. Intuit volunteers ran three intensive, three-day workshops on product innovation, marketing, finance and business strategy. Small sub-groups enabled the volunteers and micro-entrepreneurs to dive deep into each individual business. The volunteers also ran a condensed workshop for the micro-entrepreneurs’ mentors and a professional development workshop for the Rede Cidadã staff.
