Every child has the right to quality education and teaching is the single biggest factor influencing learning in schools. Inspiring Teachers runs teacher development programs in low-resource contexts that equip and empower teachers to use evidence-based approaches in their classrooms every day.

Over the last five years, the majority of Inspiring Teachers’ impact has come through their LRTT Fellowship program. They work with schools for 3 years supporting them at three levels; headteacher, lead teacher, and classroom teacher with programs that combine workshops and instructional coaching. Over the next five years, they aim to scale their impact by providing digital tools to support teacher coaching by local government staff and education system stakeholders.

Project Opportunity: LRTT is interested in leveraging a team of volunteers to:

  • Support their team in building an integrated reporting suite to establishing a database and dashboard(s) to further their mission 
  • Help them in envisioning a product strategy for mobile solutions with the added functionality of a teacher coaching decision tree tool that can work online or offline
  • Support in training local education staff in using these mobile tools

Impact: This project will impact 65 teachers reaching 12,000 students.
