Increasing Student Engagement in Rural Cambodia with Box

 In Upcoming Projects

As a part of CARE Cambodia’s Know & Grow Project to serve ethnic minority adolescent girls and boys in the rural province of Ratanak Kire, a team of 10 Box volunteers will return to five schools to train CARE Cambodia staff, ICT Core Trainers, teachers, and students. To address poor internet connectivity in this rural area, the team will build upon last year’s project and work with teachers/students in up-leveling their use of RACHEL servers (offline resources). Additionally, to inspire students to pursue STEM education/go into STEM fields, the team will introduce fun coding-based maker kits such as Lego WeDo, Makey Makey, etc.
